The word of the day: Green Food. Departing Granon, it is cloudy and colder. It starts to rain lightly through the day becoming partly cloudy by the time we arrive at our next stop, Belorado, almost exactly at 12:00pm. I’m still not feeling 100 percent, and my cough seems worse. We get checked into our rooms, and outside there is a reinactment of the Spanish civil war with people dressed up in military garb blowing off cannons in the square near my room window. It was loud, and the town gathered to watch the activity.

Jeff and I rest up and go for lunch and dinner eating at the same restaurant. At lunch, we eat some Pintxos again. I look around the Bar and see and old friend of mine, Lagunitas IPA. That’s right, in the middle of nowhere Spain, a little taste of home.

We joke about the food in that Jeff ordered a salad, which was nothing more than a layer of sliced tomatoes, with Jamon and topped with tuna. It was good, but we thought there would be some “green” lettuce. Green food seems to missing from the menu with a few exceptions. We order asparagus, it’s comes white and pickled. Salads with no green anything. I order a mixed salad and finally some green food arrives. Jeff and I both like to eat meats, but with geeen food too. It does seem to missing at times here is Spain. It’s not a complaint, you know, when in Rome, eat what the Roman’s eat. Enjoy the pictures:
